Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 25 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Naqdibook, an offline desktop point-of-sale application ("the Software"), provided by Deixtra (Private) Limited ("the Provider," "we," "us"). By downloading, installing, activating, or using Naqdibook, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, the Provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Naqdibook on the number of devices permitted by your license tier.
This is a license to use the Software, not a sale. The Provider retains all ownership rights, title, and intellectual property in Naqdibook.
2. License Activation and Device Binding
- Each license is bound to a specific device using a device fingerprint derived from hardware identifiers (motherboard, BIOS, and CPU).
- Activation may occur automatically over the internet, or manually via an offline activation file where no internet connection is available.
- Transferring a license to a new or replacement device may require deactivation of the original device and re-activation, subject to any limits set out in your license tier.
- Attempting to bypass, spoof, or tamper with device fingerprinting or license validation is a breach of these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or decompile the Software, except where permitted by law
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share your license key with unauthorized parties
- Circumvent license activation, device binding, or security features of the Software
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations
4. Your Data
Naqdibook stores your business data (sales, inventory, customers, reports) locally on your device. You retain full ownership of this data. You are solely responsible for backing it up; the Provider does not have access to it and cannot recover it if it is lost, corrupted, or deleted. See our Privacy Policy for details on the limited technical data the Provider does collect.
5. Fees and Payment
Access to Naqdibook, or certain features of it, may require payment of a one-time fee or a recurring subscription, as described at the time of purchase. Fees are as stated in your order or invoice at [Insert pricing/payment terms, refund policy].
6. Updates and Support
The Provider may release updates, patches, or new versions of Naqdibook from time to time. Some updates may be required for continued license validation or security. Support terms and availability are set out at [Insert support terms / SLA if any].
7. Suspension and Termination
The Provider may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms, including through unauthorized copying, tampering with license activation, or non-payment of applicable fees. Upon termination, your right to use the Software ends, though your locally stored business data remains on your device and under your control.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are not permitted by applicable law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Software.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert governing jurisdiction, e.g. Pakistan], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Insert jurisdiction/city].
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
